Sandra Temple Art Classes
We often get asked by members and non-members whether we hold classes or workshops. We refer all enquiries to Sandra Temple, our Life member and Past President of 22 years. She holds excellent classes and many members have benefited from her tuition. She is an incredibly versatile art teacher covering all art media and all kind of subjects in her classes. She has an incredible ability to teach each artist at their level, subject and medium all in the one class, not many teachers are able to do that! Well, it’s almost the end of another year! I cannot believe how fast it has gone.
Art classes will soon be taking a break so I can have my R&R time over Christmas and New Year – a time I catch up with all my own work and then realise how much I miss my students, and how art class keeps me sane. Back next year on 12th January.
I only teach 3 mornings a week and still get a buzz when someone has an AH HA moment whether they are established artists learning a new medium, or beginners just starting out. There are all subjects in all mediums and at all levels in each class which makes it exciting for everyone.
Monday classes are held at Beenleigh Artisan Distillery, Distillery Road, Beenleigh
Tuesday classes are held at Berrinba Sanctuary, off Browns Plains Road, Berrinba
Wednesday classes are held on 1st floor Wynnum Community Centre, 105 Florence St
All classes start at 10am and finish at 1pm. Cost is $35 and is paid when you arrive, no pre-booking, no paying a term at a time, in fact everyone works at their own pace, so nobody needs to worry about keeping up.
There are only 2 rules… #1 Everyone starts with a drawing lesson. #2 No one is allowed to say bad things about themselves or their work.
