TEXTILE ART GROUP EXHIBITION
‘THREADS THROUGH TIME – 45 YEARS OF TAG”
‘Threads through Time’ is a special exhibition celebrating 45 years of the Textile Art Group which is quite an achievement. The exhibition celebrates our creative and diverse journeys over many years. There are 10 members exhibiting including a special display of works by our founding member, Cynthia Morgan (past Qld Wildlife Society member). She was the powerhouse driving this group from 1980 to 2019 when she retired and handed over the reins of running the group to Bernardine Hine (current Qld Wildlife Society member)
Over the years our membership has grown, explored and created textile art that is unique and personal.
Each artist pushes the boundaries of textiles as a fine art medium, while creating thoughtful and intriguing pieces. We welcome you to come and celebrate the diversity and tactile beauty of Threads through Time.
