Location: Mt Glorious
Medium: Graphite and recycled timbers
Garry is a professional wood and pencil artist working exclusively in graphite, recycled and reclaimed timbers. He is a passionate advocate for Australian flora and fauna and believes that there can be no other natural systems more in need of our immediate attention than the ones found here in Australia.
So representing that flora and fauna in photorealistic drawings and fine marquetry pieces is his way of presenting that passion. Garry’s fine marquetry, woodworks, drawings and prints are in private collections all over the country and overseas. He lives and works from his home studio/workshop in the subtropical rainforest of Mt Glorious. So in many ways inspiration for him is just outside the door.
