Calling young nature lovers and artists!
The Wild HeART Student Art Prize is back in 2026, inviting children and teenagers to turn their fascination with the natural world into an outstanding artwork.
Local kids aged 5 – 18 years old, are encouraged to explore their local environments, observe native Australian plants, animals or fungi, and create an original creative piece. Whether you choose a coastal reptile, a wallum wildflower, a special songbird or curious fungus – our beautiful biosphere is bursting with inspiration.
Entries must be submitted online by midnight, Monday 5th October.
For details, conditions of entry and the submission link, click on the button below to visit the Wild HeART website: https://botanic-garden.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au/see-and-do/whats-on/wild-heart-student-art-prize
